Many businesspeople don't discover networking until late in their careers. But at the YPCC Networking Meeting on June 3rd, 2003, our young professionals met eighteen members of the Chamber of Commerce Regional Business Partnership and made connections. The Chamber members introduced themselves and their companies and spoke about the job they do in their specific career. YPCC president Gregory Galant of Halenet, Inc., who moderated the event, encouraged the students to interact and choose those people they wished to speak with to learn more about a career field in which they were interested. The evening was a huge success and the adults present were impressed by how well the students interacted during the networking session.
